Hello world!

I can not believe I am finally starting/ creating this blog! It’s been a long time coming! I have wanted to start a house renovation blog for a long time and for some reason or the other, never did it. It was probably a mixture of feeling too busy and wondering if this would be of any interest to anyone/ could I make a blog work. Well, I decided to stop turning the idea over and over in my mind and just take the leap! I mean, really, the worst thing that could happen is that no one will read it. The best thing would be that it I help other DIY enthusiasts.

I am starting this blog as a kind of public diary, to show/teach/chronicle my family’s journey of renovating our 1950’s ranch-style home in Texas. We have already started remodeling some rooms in the house and while I don’t have many pictures and media to document that, we have plenty of rooms and projects left! This blog will have whole room renos (the kitchen, bathrooms, creating a new master bedroom/bathroom), smaller projects ( putting up shelving, building furniture), organizing, and anything my head can think up and little heart desires! There will be something for everyone!

I hope that you find me and this blog helpful to you and that you come back often because I plan on publishing a post once a week during the weekday!
