Im Back with a House Tour!
Do you guys want the long or short story as to why I have not posted a blog in more than a year? I think I will spare you a long, drawn out story and hit the highs and lows. Earlier this year, February to be exact we started the daunting process of renovating most of our home. It lasted 7 months!! Yes, 7 very long months! I felt like a single mother through most of it because Harlley, my hubby, did most of the work himself. Im sure Harlley could sing his laments, too. the process was daunting, and we realized that undertaking so much work in the time frame was not ideal.
But, you know what?! I don’t want to complain. God blessed us with the resources to accomplish this and I am so proud of it. Not to mention the intangibles: learning to work together and trust each others instincts, and learning that planning is EVERYTHING!
So, here is the progress thus far! Remember that some of these rooms will still change, definitely more styling! If you can’t remember what the house use to look like, click here
That is BEAUTIFUL SOMER! You guys did an excellentjob!
thanks, ma!
I am so proud of you two, It looks amazing! I’m excited to see your future projects!!!
I love the Kitchen. Once you guys opened that wall into the living room, it feels a lot bigger and the design feels clean and fresh. My absolute favorite part is the tile backsplash. Great job!!!
Thank you! I hated the cave feel and I remember you hated it too!
